              Information Processing Cycle

This topic is a brief description of the information processing cycle. It speaks about its function, usage and gives examples of each parts. It basically answer to the question, What is information processing? It simply is the process of changing or converting information into meaningful form.

They are four phase of the Information  Processing

 1. Input: Computer receives data and instructions
2. Process: Computer applies instructions to data to produce information (organized Data)
3. Storage: Saving the information for a subsequent use or use in future
4. Output: Computer sends information to people in a usable format.

For a computer to perform useful work, the computer has to receive instructions and data from the outside world. The computer receives data and instructions during the INPUT stage of the information processing cycle. Useful information results when appropriate instructions are applied to data. Applying instructions to data takes place during the PROCESSING stage of the information processing cycle. To avoid having t reprocess information, computers can save information. Saving information on a computer occurs during the STORAGE phase of the information processing cycle, saving information on a computer occurs during this stage. This is followed by the result in the OUTPUT stage. Computer Processing Cycle is a similar process with similar steps by which data is fed to a computer and these is whatbasically made up a processing cycle.

The following is a brief history of computing is a timeline of how computers evolved to the machine we are using today to either surf the internet, play games and a faster way to get the job done. It gives an approximate year of each experts and their job either how computers came about or the co-founders that makes technology a better place today.

1822-Charles babbage conceive a steam-driven calculatting machine
that would be able to compute tables and numbers.

1890: Herman Hollerith designs a punch card system to calculate the 1880 census,

1936: Alan Turing presents the notion of a universal machine, later called the Turing machine, capable of computing anything that is computable. The central concept of the modern computer was based on his ideas.
1941: Atanasoff and his graduate student, Clifford Berry, design a computer that can solve 29 equations simultaneously. This marks the first time a computer is able to store information on its main memory.

1943-1944:  John Mauchly and J. Presper Eckert, build the Electronic Numerical Integrator and Calculator (ENIAC). Considered the grandfather of
digital computer

1953: Grace Hopper develops the first computer language, which eventually
becomes known as COBOL .

1976: Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak start Apple Computers on April Fool's Day and roll out the Apple I, the first computer with a single-circuit board.

1996: Sergey Brin and Larry Page develop the Google search engine at Stanford University.

1981:The father of the IBM Personal Computer, Philip Don Estridge is another one of the most important people in computer history.

1984:James Gosling is one of the most important people in technology, because of his invention of the Java programming language

.

1984:Steve Jobs is the co-founder of Apple and guided the company’s growth and direction up until the time of his death.

1989:Tim Berners-Lee is credited with inventing the World Wide Web, which makes up the backbone of the Internet

2004-present: Mark Zuckerberg co-founded Facebook, the popular social networking .

These are the most important people that makes computer a history. Following up each and everyone of their story it makes thing easier to understand. It speaks about what ever technology we are using today and creative idea of these intellegent people.
